Full-Time Position Summary:
Stone's Subaru is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our service team. The Lube Tech plays a vital role in maintaining customer vehicles by performing basic maintenance services and inspections. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to begin or grow a career in the automotive service industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements on customer vehicles Inspect vehicles for safety issues, leaks, and wear items and report findings to Service Advisors Check and top off all necessary vehicle fluids (brake, transmission, coolant, etc.) Maintain clean and organized work environment, tools, and equipment Adhere to manufacturer and dealership safety protocols and standards Assist other technicians and departments as needed Document all work performed using dealership systems
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Basic automotive knowledge or previous experience in lube, express service, or tire shops preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work Willingness to learn and take direction from senior technicians
