Qualifying Questions:
Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations? Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role? Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?
Summary:
Work on cutting-edge aviation systems (manned & unmanned) Hands-on technical role with real impact Collaborative engineering environment Build, modify, route, and install aircraft wiring harnesses and electrical components Perform functional and operational testing of avionics and electrical systems Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues on newly installed or modified systems Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Work in confined aircraft spaces (cockpits, avionics bays, ECS compartments) Use hand tools (crimpers, strippers, cutters) and testing equipment (multimeters, etc.) Document maintenance, repairs, and parts usage accurately Collaborate with engineering teams and other technical personnel Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of recent avionics, electrical, or aerospace experience Mix of office, hangar, and industrial/warehouse environments Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems and avionics theory Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and documentation Hands-on experience with wire harness assembly and installation Comfortable working in tight spaces and performing detailed technical tasks Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Frequent standing, climbing, stooping, and movement between work areas May involve crawling, working inside aircraft, and occasional outdoor work Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
