$34.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

10-hour shifts, 6 days/week (1st or 2nd shift)

Yes - OT and weekend work expected Position Overview PDS Defense Inc. is seeking an experienced FAA 787 Avionics/Electrical Technicians C to support 787 aircraft modification projects. This team already has strong structures capability onsite and is looking to add skilled avionics technicians who can work independently in a fast-paced, production environment. Regular and predictable attendance is required. Key Responsibilities Perform final component installation and system operational/functional testing Troubleshoot pre-flight and post-flight systems for aircraft delivery Inspect, document, and record non-conformances on items of medium complexity Run a flight deck with little to no assistance Support 787 aircraft modification projects Maintain a clean and FOD-free work area Operate and support aircraft systems including hydraulics and flight controls

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of professional avionics experience Strong hands-on experience with: Flight deck operations Hydraulics systems (including system activation) Flight controls Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required High School diploma or GED Regular and predictable attendance is required. Requires Badging at El Segundo Badge Office as there is no badge office in Victorville Preferred Qualifications (Plus) A&P Certification Education & Experience Education and experience typically acquired through: High School diploma/GED with 5+ years of related work experience, or Vocational/Associate degree plus 3+ years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree in a related field Benefits offered to vary by the contract.
