Security Guard. Rover/On Call, Part-Time

Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to fill the positions of Rover/On Call, Patrol Guard and Surveillance/Dispatch to join our team. This will be a part-time position that may lead to a full time position. The ideal candidates will be responsible for covering open posts with some dedicated hours while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, effective communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to emergencies. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Conduct regular inspections of premises and personnel. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies. Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor. Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV to monitor activities and detect suspicious behavior. Prepare detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary. Assist in conflict management situations with de-escalation techniques. Provide first aid or CPR when required, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on-site.

THIS IS AN ON CALL POSITION!

!! There will be some dedicated hours. Skills Proficiency in surveillance techniques and equipment operation (CCTV). Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred. Background in law enforcement or military service is a plus. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage. Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and effectively.
