EQUINOXX AVIATION SERVICES

  • General maintenance and repair.
  • Annual, 100-hour, pre-purchase, safety, airworthiness, and other inspections.
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Avionics service and installation
  • Propeller service and repair.
EQUINOXX AVIATION SERVICES
is looking for a conscientious, detail-oriented Avionics Technician, with a background in the aircraft or automobile industry. Our Avionics Technician will be a key member of our team and will contribute significantly to our growing reputation as the place our customers trust for maintenance of their aircraft. Our Avionics Technician will have opportunities to succeed by working with our technical teams to help improve our processes, maintenance efficiency, and customer recognized quality.
Job responsibilities include:
Troubleshoots and repair all avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft including Garmin, Aspen, Genesys, Avidyne Performs IFR/VFR inspections Under limited direction, performs the removal/installation of avionics components, fabrication of wire harnesses, installations, terminations, ring-out, and functional tests of avionics systems. Reassembles aircraft interior, instrument panels, and avionics equipment bays following the successful installation of wiring avionics systems and components. Ensures all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector. Learns, understands, and follows the Company work order and parts requisition process as written.. At

Required:
High school diploma Airframe Certificate / FCC License a plus Previously/Currently held Repairman Certificate a must have 5+ years of avionics experience Must have Garmin installation experience Must be able to read and write in English Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
