Therefore, to ensure you have a positive and enriching experience, we provide each intern with a tailored training program focused on translating your unique skillset to our organization. What can you expect from your SkillBridge opportunity? You will be placed in a role tailored to your desired career path within business aviation. We have opportunities available for SkillBridge in all business units including Aircraft Maintenance, Component Repair & Overhaul, Flight Test, Engineering and Defense. Our goal is to find a fit within our business units that matches your previous military experience and skillset. You will acquire exposure to Bombardier policies and procedures and make connections in different areas throughout the organization to assist you as you transition your previous military experience into the civilian side of the aviation industry. You will learn and implement new skills through specific assignments that support your transition. What is the Bombardier SkillBridge requirements? You have 180 days of service or fewer remaining prior to your date of discharge and you have at least 180 continuous days of active service. You have obtained approval from your unit commander. You agree that participation in SkillBridge can be terminated at any time by the service if mission requirements dictate You are flexible to work various hours and schedules depending on the role.
