Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Structures Mechanic to join our corporate aircraft team. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in aircraft structures repair and modification, with direct experience on Challenger, Global, and/or Gulfstream aircraft. The role focuses on precision sheet metal mods, structural repairs, and compliance with corporate aviation standards.
Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Structures Repair & Modification:
Perform repairs, alterations, and sheet metal mods to aircraft structures, including metal and composite components on Challenger, Global, and Gulfstream airframes
Structural Assembly:
Lay out, drill, countersink, and install fasteners to close tolerances; perform skin remove & replace and complex structural repairs per SRM and engineering data
Aircraft Inspection:
Conduct inspections to identify and troubleshoot structural issues, corrosion, and damage; perform repairs as needed to return aircraft to service
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, mods, and compliance with FAA regulations
Collaboration:
Work with other technicians, engineers, and QC to ensure all work is completed to high standards and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structures repair and modification on Challenger, Global, and/or Gulfstream aircraft
Skills:
Proficient in sheet metal mods, skin repair, and structural assembly
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, SRM, engineering drawings, and blueprints
Strong knowledge of aircraft structures, materials, and fastener systems including hi-loks, rivets, and composites
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
Must pass background check, drug test, and employment verification

Teamwork:
Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure all work is completed to high standards
Work Environment
Work Schedule:
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces or at heights
Travel:
May be required to travel with aircraft for repairs or modifications
