Duties Help This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the DC Air Nional Guard.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS

For positions requiring a security clearance (Secret or Top Secret) the applicant must possess or be able to obtain a clearance within One (1) year of appointment. This position is loced in the Electro Environmental Shop in the Component Repair Branch of the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron in an Air Nional Guard Flying Wing, employing F-15, F-16 and
C-130J, F-22, F-35, A-10, C-17, C-27J
aircraft. The position functions to analyze malfunctions, troubleshoot, remove, install, repair, modify, maintain, test, align, calibre and certify the components of the aircraft electrical system the electronically and pneumically controlled environmental system, and associed test equipment, and to certify these systems are air worthy, by intensive inspections of the Electrical/Electronic and Environmental System and peripherals.
Duties:
Analyzes performance and troubleshoots the electronic, electrical, hydraulic, pneumic and mechanical functions of the subsystems integred into the digital brake/antiskid system, maintenance annunciion panel (MAP) system of the integred main generor, standby generor, emergency generor, flight control power, AC/DC power distribution and sub-systems integred into the electronic/electrical and environmental systems. Interprets analog and digital operional and output characteristics and results from the Maintenance Annunciion Panel (M.A.P.), onboard computers, aircrew debriefings and specialized test equipment. Modifies and updes electrical and environmental support equipment according to applicable technical publicions. Maintains and operes various types of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, diagnostic computers, digital and analog multi-meters, constant speed drive test stands, voltmeters, ammeters, etc. Performs precise and advanced wiring maintenance procedures on aircraft. Utilizes computer da and specialized test equipment to interpret equipment analog/digital operional characteristics to isole malfunctions in the approprie sub-systems. Clears Red X symbols on maintenance forms as authorized, and performs electronic/electrical and environmental system debriefing of aircrews. Inspects, tests and performs operive maintenance on cryogenic and gaseous oxygen and nitrogen servicing equipment. Provides on-the-job training to lower grade personnel concerning repair of the electronic/electrical and environmental equipment, aircraft system line replaceable units (LRUs), and aircraft electrical/environmental systems. Prepares for and participes in various types of readiness evaluions such as Operional Readiness inspections (ORI), Inspector General (IG) inspections, Unit Effectiveness Inspections and mobility and command support exercises. GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Experience or training which has provided a knowledge and skill in locing and tying in the electrical systems with the aircraft armament, electronics, and instrument systems; adjusting and calibring the components of the various electrical systems; reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schemics.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Experience in the setup and operion of computerized multiple circuit analyzing equipment in manual, semiautomic, or automic mode to run existing and new (not fully debugged) diagnostic programs to test and analyze aircraft electrical circuitry and interconnecting cabling of systems such as navigional computers, radar, and reled equipment and to repair discrepancies.
