Job Responsibilities:

This is a full-time position for an experienced UAS Maintainer lvl 3-5 supporting Group 3 unmanned aerial systems. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft and ground control systems in Howell, MI. Candidates must be comfortable performing field-level maintenance to ensure system readiness and mission continuity.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Group 3 UAS, including air vehicles, payloads, ground control stations, and support equipment.

Conduct pre-flight, post-flight, and periodic inspections focused on airworthiness, system readiness, and maintenance compliance.

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and component-level repairs on aircraft, payloads, and ground control equipment.

Execute component replacement, repair, calibration, and functional checks in accordance with approved technical data and maintenance procedures.

Maintain logs, documentation, and flight data in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Adhere to safety, quality, and maintenance discipline standardsAble to travel up to 25%

Job Requirements:

2-5 years of hands-on UAS maintenance experience, preferably supporting Group 3 or Group 4 platforms.

Demonstrated experience with aircraft maintenance practices, avionics systems, payloads, and ground support equipment.

Ability to read, interpret, and execute technical manuals, wiring diagrams, maintenance procedures, and inspection criteria.

Ability to work independently and in small teams or high-tempo operational settings.

Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and situational judgment skills.

Preferred:

FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) CertificatePrior military, government contractor, or OEM UAS maintenance experience.

Maintenance qualification or progression consistent with Maintainer Levels 3-5.

Additional Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Ability to obtain necessary work authorization or export-control approvals, as applicable.

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for potential travel.

Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
