Aug 24, 2026 Job Description The CTE Instructor utilizes a district-approved curriculum developed from the State of NH Career and Technical Education competencies to meet the academic, interpersonal, and career-focused goals of all students. The teacher models and teaches the implementation of instructional strategies that enhance student achievement. As a member of the CTE instructional team teachers work collaboratively with other teachers in the CTC to provide multi-faceted programs that offer opportunities for growth for all students.
  • Knowledge of current education and instructional and best practices as related to instruction and curriculum at the appropriate learning level.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design, lesson development and personalized learning for regular and special education as well as middle and high school levels.
  • Knowledge of current educational technology trends in a competency-based education environment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, parents, administrators and others.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of cultural diversity and inclusivity as related to student performance educational practices.
  • Knowledge of current instructional technologies and software, equipment, tools and devices and the safety procedures that must be followed if required.
  • Ability to use computer network systems and software applications as needed.
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work by self and with others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, students, parents and administrators.
  • Facilitates and maintains industry partnerships to ensure that the program is aligned with industry needs.
  • Facilitates and maintains student opportunities for internships, coop, job shadows, student enterprises, CTSOs
  • Satisfies all program-specific requirements of Perkins IV
  • Commits to working with CTE staff to fulfill the mission of Career and Technical Education.
  • Knows and follows all School Board policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by the Administration.
