Duties Conduct thorough pool cleaning using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to remove debris, algae, and dirt. Perform regular pool maintenance tasks such as checking water levels, balancing chemicals, and inspecting filtration systems. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment including pumps, filters, skimmers, and valves. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform minor repairs or adjustments on pool systems. Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, maintenance activities, and repairs performed. Identify potential issues with pool systems early and communicate necessary repairs or service needs promptly. Assist with the overall upkeep of pool surroundings to ensure a clean and safe environment for users. Experience Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to pool equipment and basic repair skills are essential. Familiarity with using hand tools and power tools for maintenance tasks is required. Experience with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance procedures is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols during equipment repair or servicing.
