Georgia Crown is a full-service alcoholic beverage distributor with wholesale operations doing business in Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee.

Minimum Qualifications:

Reading mechanical and electrical blueprints Electrical systems-120 volt,277 volt,480 volt PLC's-Basic PLC trouble shooting skills Pneumatics Preventative Maintenance schedules & routines. Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, and write) Must be able to complete required written paperwork (purchase requests, PM records, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be 21 years of age with a Hight School Diploma/GED and 2 years Technical School or equivalent OJT with electrical motors, conveyors, ASRS, or mechanical systems. Can operate a scissor and/or boom lift and work at extended heights up to 40 feet. Must be safety minded and promote safety at all times while working. Prior experience preferred in the following areas: Position will work primarily on 2nd shift from approximately 6p.m. -3a.m. Sunday -Thursday. Must be able to be on call to help service/repair machinery as needed to help cover other mechanic while out or on vacation. Must be computer literate. Must be able to pass background check (i.e. police backgrounds, reference checks…).

Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record:

Cannot have more than two (2): moving violations and/or at-fault vehicle accidents (any combination) in the past three (3) years (for speeding, violations must be under 16mph) Cannot have more than one (1): speeding violation of 16-29mph OR at-fault accident in the past three (3) years Cannot have a major violation such as: DUI/DWI, hit-and-run, reckless driving, and/or super speeder (29+mph) violation in the past five (5) years Drug Free Workplace.
