Lead Maintenance Technician Maintenance Supervisor Additional skill development and certification support Key Responsibilities As a Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in maintaining property standards, supporting residents, and ensuring the community operates efficiently. Service Requests & Repairs Complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner Diagnose and repair: Plumbing issues (leaks, clogs, fixtures) Basic electrical systems (switches, outlets, lighting) Appliances Minor carpentry repairs Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems (strongly preferred) Unit Turnovers Prepare apartments for new residents Patch walls, paint, complete punch lists, and perform minor repairs Ensure apartments meet company quality standards Preventive Maintenance Conduct preventive maintenance throughout buildings and common areas Help maintain curb appeal and community appearance Identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues Emergency Response Participate in rotating on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies Respond promptly and professionally when urgent issues arise Documentation & Resident Service Maintain accurate work order records Communicate professionally with residents and team members Deliver exceptional customer service while entering occupied homes Qualifications Required Experience 2-5+ years of maintenance experience Multifamily property maintenance experience strongly preferred Ability to work independently and prioritize service requests effectively Valid driver's license required T echnical Skills Experience in the following areas is preferred: Plumbing repairs Basic electrical troubleshooting Appliance repair and diagnostics Carpentry and general repairs HVAC repair and troubleshooting Preferred Certifications EPA 608 Certification HVAC experience CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification Experience with property management software such as: AppFolio Yardi Similar maintenance/work order systems What to Expect We believe transparency matters.
