The FTO Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for leading day-to-day mechanical maintenance execution at Fairfield Works - Tubular. This role provides front-line leadership for the safe, reliable, and efficient maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. The Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator leads through maintenance leaders and provides direction, coaching, and accountability for represented mechanical maintenance employees. The role aligns maintenance activities across shifts, reinforces consistent work practices, and coordinates planned and unplanned work to improve mechanical equipment reliability, availability, and operating continuity. This position works closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Automation, Reliability, Safety, and other support functions to prioritize work, troubleshoot recurring failures, strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and ensure mechanical maintenance activities meet applicable safety, environmental, and technical requirements. The Mechanical Maintenance Coordinator also supports workforce capability by coordinating employee training and qualification, maintaining appropriate maintenance documentation, and building technical bench strength within the mechanical maintenance organization.
