Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door and Hardware Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining doors, frames, locks, and related hardware across various commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards, adhere to blueprints and schematics, and contribute to the overall quality of our construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, develop your craftsmanship, and be a vital part of creating secure and functional spaces. Responsibilities Install doors, frames, hardware, and related fixtures using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment with precision and care. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate installation according to project specifications. Perform metal stud framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting as required for project completion. Conduct glass installation, caulking, locksmithing tasks, and metal fabrication to meet safety and aesthetic standards. Utilize construction site experience to handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency on busy job sites. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to door hanging, electrical wiring (where applicable), or hardware adjustments. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in construction-related roles such as door hanging, framing, or remodeling projects. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical systems relevant to door and hardware installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work effectively at heights or in confined spaces when necessary. Familiarity with locksmithing practices, electrical experience (preferred), metal stud framing, trim carpentry, caulking techniques, and fixture installation. Prior experience working on construction sites with a focus on remodeling or renovation projects is highly desirable.
