In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of garage doors and openers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in construction-related tasks. This position requires a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and openers in residential and commercial settings. Perform frame carpentry and drywall work as needed during installations. Fabricate custom door components to meet specific project requirements. Execute door hanging tasks with precision to ensure proper functionality. Work on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and regulations. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues with garage door systems. Assist with heavy lifting of doors and equipment during installations. Apply caulking as necessary to ensure weatherproofing of installations. Conduct cabinet installation or fixture installation when required as part of the overall project scope. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs. Requirements Proven experience in garage door installation or related construction work. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems. Experience with frame carpentry, drywall, fabrication, door hanging, caulking, cabinet installation, and fixture installation is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to job sites. Willingness to work flexible hours as needed based on project demands.
