system repair Electrical maintenance Technical Proficiency Full Job Description The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, bar, sauna, fitness center, pool area, and hotel guestroom preventative maintenance. Additionally, the technician assists with the repairs and maintenance of hotel equipment, including mechanical and electrical equipment such as pumps and motors.
Compensation:
$16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities:
Be available for emergency repairs and on-call support during evenings or weekends as needed. Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and with excellent service. Perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms and public areas, keeping detailed records. Organize and maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces to support efficient operations. Address repair needs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
Qualifications:
Proficiency with tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Outlook). High school diploma or GED, with 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent training. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
