This role involves maintaining and servicing residential and commercial pools to ensure they are clean, safe, and functioning optimally. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, experience with pool maintenance, and the ability to perform equipment repairs efficiently. Duties Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and chemical balancing to maintain water clarity and safety standards. Conduct regular inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues. Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Maintain detailed service records of all work performed on each pool. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs or recommend replacements. Ensure all pools meet health and safety regulations through proper maintenance procedures. Communicate effectively with clients regarding service status and any required follow-up work. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting. Proficiency in pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical balancing, and routine inspections. Experience with hand tools and power tools used for repairs and maintenance tasks. Service technician experience preferred, with a focus on pool systems or related equipment. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting equipment, working in various weather conditions, and standing for extended periods. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery. Good communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
