Job Description

Door Builder Description - Will be building House-type steel doors. Must be able to lift 125 lbs. Must be 18 years of age or older to operate machines. Must be able to read a tape measure. HOURS 7:00 AM TO 3:30 PM

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY SOME OVERTIME ON SATURDAY. OVERTIME AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED. SUMMARY

ASSEMBLE

OR FIT TOGETHER PARTS TO FORM COMPLETE UNITS OR SUBASSEMBLIES AT A BENCH, CONVEYOR LINE, OR ON THE FLOOR. WORK MAY INVOLVE THE USE OF HAND TOOLS, POWER TOOLS, AND OTHER SPECIAL EQUIPMENT IN ORDER TO CARRYOUT FITTING AND ASSEMBLY OPERATIONS. INCLUDED ASSEMBLERS WHOSE DUTIES ARE OF A NON-PRECISION NATURE. REQUIRES WORKERS TO DEVELOP SKILLS NEEDED FOR AVERAGE JOB PERFORMANCE AFTER ONE WEEK OF ON THE JOB TRAINING. RESPONSIBILITIES

ASSEMBLY

PARTS AS DIRECTED BY TRAINER OR SUPERVISOR. SKILL REQUIREMENTS

ABLE TO PERFORM BASIC MATH CALCULATIONS USING FRACTIONS. I.E. ADD, SUBTRACT, MULTIPLY, DIVIDE. WILLINGNESS TO LEARN NEW SKILLS ABILITY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS AS INSTRUCTED ABILITY TO CLEAN USING BROOMS, MOPS, AND OTHER DEVICES AS NEEDED TO PERFORM BASIC HOUSEKEEPING ABILITY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH ABILITY TO LIFT UPTO 50LBS AT A TIME ABILITY TO PERFORM REPETITIVE TASKS ABILITY TO FOLLOW SAFETY GUIDELINES ABILITY TO USE AND WEAR PPE AND FOLLOW OSHA GUIDELINES AS WELL. ABILITY TO FOLLOW COMPANY RULES AND GUIDELINES. ABILITY TO ATTEND SHIFTS AS SCHEDULED ABILITY TO REQUEST TIME OFF 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE WILLINGNESS TO TAKE A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN
