POSITION SUMMARY
The Maintenance Mechanic II serves as a member of the Maintenance team and is responsible for the physical condition of all buildings on or off campus. This will be accomplished through responsive, accurate and efficient maintenance by performing of task that require the application of specialized and general maintenance, repair techniques, materials, tools, and equipment. Must be able to work from shop drawings and blueprints
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent. Related military specialty will be considered. Minimum Experience Five-year experience as a maintenance mechanic in a commercial setting required. Must have advance knowledge in at least one of the following: electrical, plumbing, painting, boilers and HVAC with the ability to use a voltmeter, amp meter, temperature and pressure gages. Required Registration/License/Certification Drivers License Preferred Education Completion of 2-year technical school in a maintenance field. Preferred Experience Five -year experience as a maintenance mechanic in a health care environment with one of the following electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or steam boilers. Preferred Registration/License/Certification Certification or License in one of the following: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, steam boilers. Other Requirements N/A
