Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong foundation in appliance repair, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while delivering exceptional service and support. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and other mechanical systems to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment, and mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances, HVAC components, and mechanical equipment following safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems such as air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, and related components. Operate company vehicles to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks at various locations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed. Collaborate with team members to coordinate construction projects or upgrades that impact facility infrastructure while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Extensive knowledge of appliance repair and service technician practices with experience in HVAC & appliance technology. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair and equipment maintenance. Proven experience with HVAC system repair—including air conditioning units—and refrigeration systems. Skilled in kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation within commercial environments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff or clients. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), construction processes, and safety standards. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely and responsibly. Leadership qualities that support team collaboration and problem-solving under pressure.
