Description:
Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Perform preventive maintenance as required. Repair and maintain physical structure of establishment. Present a sense of urgency. Execute daily maintenance work order activities and priorities in the most efficient manner possible. Assist with the procurement of replacement and spare parts. Read and interpret mechanical and/or electrical schematic drawings, sketches, manuals and specifications. Work closely with supervision and production to troubleshoot machine malfunctions. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Two-year technical associate degree or equivalent experience Minimum 5 years-experience providing process and/or engineering support in a manufacturing environment. Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities. Ability to work cooperatively in team environment with minimal supervision. Maintain a safe working environment.
Training Requirements:
Amenable to additional training and/or instruction
Physical Job Demands:
Moderate to heavy lifting required. Moderate to high physical activity including but not limited to climbing steps and ladders, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking. Must work in a constant state of mental alertness. Subject to random drug and alcohol testing under DoD regulations.
