Team member(s) have been successfully trained on all items identified as key steps in the general duties/work instructions and understand the necessary competencies to complete daily task. Management of designee performing the training has successfully demonstrated the ability to understand and/or perform all items covered during training. If necessary, an interpreter will convey the information as needed.Necessary Competencies:

- This position is responsible for maintenance of the facility and equipment
DISCUSSION POINTS
Examples:
- Throughout the day make repairs on all machinery, building, and electrical items as breakdowns and problems occur
- Reinstall all parts after sanitation has finished to start production in both areas of the facility. This will require readjustment after start ups
- Start each piece of equipment and ensure proper performance, make repairs accordingly
- Check each scale to insure weighing capability and make repairs as needed
- Start the refrigeration system and observe the proper pressures and temperatures.
- Remove all necessary parts at the beginning of the sanitation cycle so equipment can be cleaned
- Answer radio calls throughout the shift
- Preventative Maintenance of equipment when plant is down
- Follow all safety requirements including using the proper PPE
Physical Requirement:
- Standing and/or walking during the entire shift and wearing of proper PPE.
- Requires considerable reaching, lifting, and bending
- Work in wet, cold environment.
