A Building and General Maintenance Technician performs building maintenance and appliance repairs for an apartment complex, housing division, residential center or business, as directed by a property manager.
We are looking for a reliable Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to help with repairs and maintenance at rental properties. This is a good fit for someone who is dependable, can work independently, and has experience handling common residential repairs.
Responsibilities include:
Perform general handyman repairs at rental homes Drywall repair, patching, painting, trim, doors, locks, and basic carpentry Minor plumbing repairs such as faucets, toilets, leaks, and drain issues Minor electrical repairs such as outlets, switches, lights, and fixtures Basic flooring, siding, exterior repairs, and cleanup work Turnover work between tenants Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Take photos before and after work Communicate clearly about what was completed and what materials are needed
Requirements:
Must have handyman or property maintenance experience Must have your own tools Must have reliable transportation Must be able to work independently Must be reliable, responsive, and professional with tenants Ability to troubleshoot repairs and complete jobs properly Must be comfortable sending photos and updates by text
Preferred:
Experience working on rental properties Ability to handle multiple types of repairs Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, and exterior repairs Truck or van is a plus
