Job Overview RidgePointe Country Club is seeking a dependable, motivated, and mechanically inclined Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the clubhouse, restaurant, pool, and surrounding facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for our members and guests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in facility maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs. This position reports directly to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and General Manager . Responsibilities Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems. Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, clogged drains, water heaters, flush valves, and water systems. Repair electrical fixtures, outlets, lighting, and basic wiring. Maintain and repair restaurant and kitchen equipment, including cooking equipment, refrigeration units, vent hoods, and furniture. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. General Facility Maintenance Perform carpentry, drywall repair, painting, ceiling tile replacement, flooring repairs, and remodeling projects. Install and repair tile, commercial vinyl flooring, carpet, shelving, cabinets, fixtures, furniture, and décor. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs throughout the property. Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including floors, windows, doors, and restrooms. Empty trash throughout the facility and restock restroom and locker room supplies. Assist with daily swimming pool cleaning and basic pool maintenance. Help with event setup and breakdown as needed. Administrative Duties Complete work orders accurately and document maintenance activities using the maintenance management system. Maintain maintenance records and preventative maintenance schedules. Work closely with the Facilities Maintenance Manager to prioritize projects. Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs and services when necessary. Emergency Response Respond to facility emergencies, including plumbing issues, equipment failures, electrical problems, and other urgent maintenance needs. Participate in an on-call rotation and be available by phone after normal business hours when scheduled. Respond quickly and professionally to unexpected maintenance situations. Qualifications Experience in commercial or residential maintenance preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment. Ability to read, understand, and complete maintenance checklists and work orders. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks.
