Job Description
Sirius Staffing is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on plant machinery and equipment in Little Rock, AR.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment and machinery, including dust collectors, rotary calciners, fans, pumps, pan formers, tanks, conveyors, belt dryers, mills, screeners, elevators, blowers, mixers, extruders, and conveying systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain equipment reliability.
Conduct routine plant walkthroughs and inspections to identify abnormal equipment conditions or failures and communicate findings to management for repair or adjustment.
Perform fabrication and minor equipment modifications to support small CAPEX/non-CAPEX projects and new equipment installations.
Assist Operations with equipment and process troubleshooting and cleanup from a mechanical maintenance standpoint.
Troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical equipment issues.
Maintain all personally assigned tools required to perform job duties.
Support equipment installations, plant projects, and maintenance activities as assigned by the Chief Plant Engineer.
Maintain a safe and organized work area and follow all plant safety procedures.
Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.
Previous industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, millwright, or equipment maintenance experience preferred.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
Experience with pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, or similar industrial equipment preferred.
Fabrication and/or welding experience is a plus.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability and willingness to work in a dirty, dusty, physically demanding plant environment.
Dependable, safety-focused, and willing to perform hands-on maintenance work.
