Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring that our residential properties are well-maintained and operational. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. Conduct inspections of facilities to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Execute residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to tenant requests and concerns. Collaborate with team members to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks. Skills Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively. Proficient in English for clear communication with team members and residents. Experience in residential painting techniques and best practices. Ability to weld and perform basic metalwork as needed for repairs. Comprehensive knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures and standards. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring tenant satisfaction at all times. Familiarity with using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting electrical issues. Solid mechanical knowledge, enabling effective problem-solving in various maintenance scenarios.
