Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform facility and building maintenance including: plumbing, mechanical, facility painting, landscaping, scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and preventive and predictive facility maintenance Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment such as welding robots, fabrication equipment, hoists, lift tables, cranes, paint booths, etc Follows lock-out and tag-out procedures as needed to ensure safe work practices Dismantle machinery and replace defective parts as needed Log all service work performed, recording downtime during repair and accounting for equipment service requests Perform Lean and 5S functions related to maintenance Troubleshoot, program, re-program, and edit programmable logic controllers as needed Drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification Operate cranes and hoists. Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications No minimum education required 1+ years experience of industrial and facility maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and maintaining industrial equipment Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment Working knowledge of manufacturing machines, cranes, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment Ability to complete company safety training related to electrical safety Ability to use of aerial lifts and lift trucks Working knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC Ability to identify issues and repairs that are needed 1+ years of electrical or mechanical trades training Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
