a Maintenance Tech who knows their way around tools and machines. We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and automated production equipment to maximize uptime, improve reliability, and support efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience, knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, and a passion for solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills Experience with motors, motor controls, VFDs, control circuits, and electrical distribution systems Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Experience using electrical testing equipment such as multimeters and amp clamps Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments with varying temperatures and conditions Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed
Job Duties:
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment and facility systems Troubleshoot AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, relays, contactors, VFDs, and control panels Perform preventive and predictive electrical maintenance Install, replace, and test electrical components and wiring Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and automated production systems Calibrate sensors, controls, and instrumentation Assist with equipment startups, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Support installation and commissioning of new equipment Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory Follow all safety, quality, and maintenance procedures Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
