Maintenance Technician Brunner & Lay, Inc. Springdale, AR Full-Time | Onsite | No Travel | Pay DOE About the Role Brunner & Lay is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Springdale, Arkansas. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment in a heavy industrial environment. You will work across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient production. What You Will Do Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, grinding machines, forging equipment, and overhead cranes Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Assist with basic PLC troubleshooting Support equipment installation and upgrades Complete maintenance documentation accurately and timely Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements
What We Are Looking For Required:
Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting Experience with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Basic electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read blueprints and schematics Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred:
Experience with CNC equipment PLC troubleshooting experience Experience in forging or heavy manufacturing Technical certification or trade school training Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance or equipment Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods Comfortable working in an industrial plant environment Work conditions include exposure to: Hot presses, ovens, and heated steel Temperatures that may exceed 100°F Metal filings and moving machinery Moderate to high noise levels Required use of PPE at all times Education High School Diploma or GED required Technical training preferred Why Brunner & Lay Brunner & Lay is a family-owned manufacturer serving the mining, demolition, and construction industries for over 140 years.
