$50,000-$60,000 annually (roughly $23-$28/hour), based on experience
Work Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-6:00 PM, with opportunities for overtime Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to join an industrial facility in Stuttgart. In this role, you will oversee the operation of processing machinery, conduct regular equipment inspections, and contribute to the safe and productive flow of our manufacturing operations. Core Duties Manage the startup, operation, and shutdown sequences of processing machinery Observe and track critical metrics like temperature and pressure levels Execute minor process modifications to ensure consistent production output Help maintain a clean and functional facility by performing regular equipment upkeep and sanitation Identify and resolve technical malfunctions or process irregularities Ensure product standards are met by conducting quality assessments and logging production data Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all safety protocols and utilizing required protective gear Qualifications Previous experience in an industrial or mechanical setting, or a relevant trade certification Demonstrated mechanical ability and a proactive attitude toward skill development Capacity to work effectively in environments featuring heavy machinery and high temperatures Help ensure operational efficiency by maintaining the physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable team player who prioritizes workplace safety Flexibility to accommodate overtime, weekend shifts, or overnight hours when necessary Required Proficiencies Heavy Equipment Repair Equipment Troubleshooting Electrical Troubleshooting Electrical Repair HVAC Maintenance HVAC Troubleshooting HVAC Repair Boiler Operation Heavy Material Handling Industrial Electrical Experience Industrial Electrical Systems Diesel & Heavy Equipment Systems Equipment Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Electrical Schematic Reading Equipment Repair & Maintenance
