Position Summary This role is responsible for performing daily maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The position involves troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as supporting production needs through equipment setup and operation. The Maintenance Technician will also document all work performed and assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on equipment, including: Punch presses, roll formers, brake presses CNC hole punch, laser cutting, and plasma cutting machines CNC robots and welding cells Riveters, stakers, and spot welders Ovens, evaporative coolers, and cooling systems Hand tools and other production equipment Troubleshoot and repair industrial systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical components Interpret and work with industrial control circuits, PLC logic, and NEC electrical codes Perform industrial wiring tasks, including running conduit, pulling wire, and circuit tracing Install, program, and set up motor drives Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment such as punch presses, roll formers, and welding machines Assist production teams with machine setup and operation as needed Fabricate and assemble items such as stands, racks, carts, toolboxes, safety guards, and related equipment Accurately document maintenance activities using work orders and department systems Support overall production efficiency by assisting with assembly, material preparation, packaging, and other operational tasks Maintain tools, work areas, and the facility to ensure a clean and safe environment Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Qualifications & Skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions effectively Strong troubleshooting and repair skills with the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner Experience with preventative maintenance programs Proficiency in welding, as required Basic computer skills Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and controls Effective communication skills with team members and leadership
