GreenTree Hotel- Phoenix West Phoenix, AZ 85043 Job description: GreenTree is looking for an eager and self-motivated individual with general repair experience to support the Maintenance Department of the GreenTree Hotel- Phoenix West

HOTEL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the leadership of the Chief Engineer and General Manager, this individual will: Perform Preventative Maintenance on the exterior and the interior of the hotel (Painting, Plumbing & Electrical). Assist with the surface preparation for minor drywall, wood and plaster repair, painting, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, as well as clean up upon the completion of the project. Troubleshoot and perform basic plumbing (e.g., plunge toilets, unclog drains). Perform minor adjustments and repair on room furniture, fixtures, guest room door controls, HVAC system, and other items in the hotel. Maintain equipment, supplies and company vehicle in good working order. Assist other departments in the hotel as needed.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED TRAITS

Hotel experience preferred. General knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical, etc. Requires excellent communication skills and an ability to work in a team atmosphere
