Purpose The purpose of Facilities Technician - AZ is to provide general maintenance, repair or construction needed on the facility located in Arizona. This is a broad role that could range from changing air filters, grounds maintenance, or test course maintenance and repair. Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions) Follow safety procedures; wear protective equipment Coordinate with and assist outside contractors Coordinate and schedule activities with affected areas Support TRC Inc.'s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts Qualifications High school diploma is required Valid driver's license Basic knowledge of landscaping, concrete/asphalt, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, vehicle maintenance, and/or fabrication Basic knowledge of safe and proper tool and equipment use (hand tools, power tools, forklift) Good communication skills with the ability to describe maintenance tasks Basic computer skills to enter inspection data, timesheets, and work orders Working conditions May be exposed to temperatures under 32 degrees and above 110 degrees May be exposed to inclement weather May be exposed to hazardous chemical, such as gas, oil, and paint Physical requirements Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds Capable of positioning one's self into bending, stretching, climbing, or awkward positions Ability to enter work times into a computerSimilar jobs in Surprise, AZ
