- Full-time The Brand new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Chino, CA with a 111 Rooms 4 Story Hotel is looking for a Full-Time Maintenance Engineer to join the team.
Job Requirements:
Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to: 1. Hotel experience is a MUST and/or similar experience in facility maintenance. 2. Respond and attend to guest repair requests. 3. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervision. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. 4. Must be able to get Certified Pool Operator certificate, if not already certified. 5. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. 6. Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. 7. Assure each day's activities and issues that occur are communicated to the other shifts using approved communication programs and standards. 8. Display above average skills in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management. 9. Show solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks. 10. Troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment (e.g. pump and motor replacement), plumbing (e.g. plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical equipment including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners, internet devices, replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items. 11. Program TV's and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties. 12. Assist with minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough clean-up of the painting or repair area. 13. Perform mid-level troubleshooting of hotel Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. 14. Show ability to perform Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.Job Type:
