In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across a variety of systems and machinery. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge, technical skills, and leadership abilities in a fast-paced setting dedicated to excellence. Duties Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and other mechanical equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Diagnose and repair issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building infrastructure. Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately identify problems and implement solutions. Perform appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Lead small maintenance projects or team efforts when necessary, demonstrating leadership qualities. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to minimize downtime. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment like conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machines to keep production running smooth and prevent breakdowns. Follow food safety rules when working around production areas, using the right cleaning procedures and food-grade materials to keep everything up to code. Handle emergency repairs when equipment breaks down during production, getting things back up and running as fast as possible to minimize downtime. Manage spare parts and tools inventory to make sure you've got what you need when equipment needs fixing or upgrading. Always working safely, following OSHA regulations and keeping your area clean and in line with company rules. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration), and equipment repair. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams for troubleshooting complex systems. Hands-on experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, air conditioning installation and repair. Knowledge of construction principles related to building maintenance and upgrades. Ability to operate tools and machinery safely while following established protocols. Leadership skills with the ability to guide team members or coordinate maintenance projects effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately. Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
