Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment within our facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive maintenance on filling equipment, blending tanks, and mixers to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with production equipment, including 3 phase power and 24vdc control systems. Troubleshoot and repair issues with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and servo components. Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, pumps, valves, and sensors. Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed to repair or modify equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in industrial mechanics, machinery repair, or a related field is preferred. 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining industrial machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, including experience with 3 phase power, 24vdc control systems, PLCs, and servo components. Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, including electrical diagrams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
