Active SECRET Clearance Required Job Description:
We are hiring factory-authorized Outboard Motor (OBM) Maintenance Technicians to support the Maritime Division's LCPO. You will be tasked with the complete breakdown and depot-level repair of highly specialized tactical maritime craft and engines.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete breakdown and repair of approximately 550 small outboard motors (15Hp to 300Hp). Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair craft IAW applicable manufacturer tech manuals. Repair (18) 8-meter and 11-meter safety support craft, 130 Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts (CRRCs), and all accessories (including aluminum welding). Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair boat trailers, including bearing removal and replacement. Conduct advanced electrical wiring repairs of small craft to include radar installation.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of Outboard Motor Maintenance and Overhaul experience. Must be a BRP and Wing Inflatables factory-authorized technician and repair specialist capable of conducting depot-level repair. Must hold a valid state driver's license and an active SECRET security clearance.
