In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper upkeep and functionality of various facilities, equipment, and infrastructure. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment across residential, commercial, or industrial sites. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple facilities, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and mechanical systems. Conduct routine inspections using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify issues early. Execute welding tasks and other fabrication work as needed to repair or modify structures and equipment. Assist with electrical troubleshooting and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety standards and electrical codes. Support facilities maintenance activities including painting, cleaning, landscaping, and minor construction projects. Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule preventive maintenance. Supervise or assist with subcontractors or team members during larger projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client or tenant concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability and continuous improvement. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or general handyman roles within residential, commercial, or manufacturing environments. Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively. Hands-on welding experience with the ability to operate welding equipment safely. Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits using tools like ohmmeters and understanding electrical schematics. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in manufacturing or building automation systems. Experience supervising or leading small teams or subcontractors is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of CMMS software for work order management is advantageous. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate tasks clearly with team members and clients.
