Maintenance Technician - 626/565

AWI Management Corp. is seeking an experienced individual to help maintain a 108-unit apartment community and a 48-unit apartment community in Desert Hot Springs, CA. Experience in general building maintenance and landscape is preferred. The position is full-time at 40 hours a week. Housing is not available for this position.

Requirements:

Reliable Transportation Authorized to work in the United States Access to a personal smartphone with email, messaging and app functionality. Usage will be reimbursed. This position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle as an essential function of the job. A valid driver's license is required. Skills:

Good communication skills Computer literate (Word, Excel, MS Outlook) Ability to positively interact with the general public, tenants, vendors, and corporate staff Strong organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines Experience with subsidized housing (HUD, Tax Credit, or RD) helpful General building maintenance skills (painting, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, carpentry) General grounds keeping skills Ability to manage emergency situations
