To maintain all building and equipment throughout the hotel and oversee the Engineering department.Compensation:
$25-30/Hour Must have evening and weekend availability. This role will provide amazing guest service while maintaining the full operational functionality of the building. You and the entire engineering team are responsible for the repair, service, and preventative maintenance of all things within and outside of the hotel building. Taking pride and passion for your work and working within a team.Essential Job Functions:
- Performs general repairs and services in all maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited; carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical, finish work, etc.
- Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.
- Effectively interact with department managers is required.
- Respond to guest room calls as required.
- Complete any and all assigned preventative maintenance procedures.
- Adhere to hotel safety standards.
- Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned by Manager.
- Assist other departmental craft workers as required.
- Perform all duties required as Fire Alarm Response Team.
- Participate in OSHA/Safety programs within the hotel through awareness in everyday job functions and participate on the Hotel's Emergency Evacuation Team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands:
- Lift, push, pull, rotate 50 lbs or more
- Manual dexterity to operate and grasp tools
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Standing and walking up to a full 8 hours a day
Qualifications :
Education :
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Trade school or General Maintenance/Technician certification a plus
Experience :
- One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work at hotels preferred
- One year of experience in general maintenance and repair work required
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety and Chemical Standards ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
