Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in the metals industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, welding, crane machine repairs, and general warehouse maintenance. This role requires a proactive problem-solver capable of ensuring the optimal performance of industrial equipment and facilities while adhering to safety and operational standards. Job Function Perform •preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems. Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including cranes, welding equipment, and material handling systems. Conduct •welding and fabrication repairs on metal structures and equipment. Inspect, maintain, and repair warehouse infrastructure (doors, conveyors, lighting, etc.). Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance protocols. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions. Train and mentor junior technicians as needed. Required Skills 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the metals industry. Technical training/certification in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and crane maintenance•. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems. Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication. Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy machinery repairs. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment (climbing, lifting, etc.). OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus. Compensation Range The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $55,000.00/Yr. - USD $60,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
