Responsibilities:

Perform routine, scheduled, and preventative maintenance on agricultural processing equipment, including conveyors, sorters, elevators, motors, and gearboxes. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions to minimize production downtime. Dismantle defective machines and equipment to replace worn or broken parts using a variety of hand and power tools. Utilize basic welding and metal fabrication skills to repair structural components or modify facility equipment as needed. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, shift reports, and parts inventory records while adhering to Cal/OSHA workplace safety standards. Collaborate closely with production supervisors and machine operators to test equipment performance and resolve inefficiencies.

6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:

Basic welding (MIG, TIG, or Stick) and fabrication skills are highly preferred.

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

2 to 5 years of proven experience as a maintenance mechanic in an industrial, manufacturing, or agricultural environment. Strong foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ability to confidently read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Physical capability to stand for long periods, stoop, crawl, climb, and routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
