Job Description
Job Summary:
The SPD Technician Floor Lead is accountable for the daily work flow and assignments of Tech I, Tech II, and Tech III staff, to ensure cleaning, inspecting, assembly, high-level disinfection, and/or sterilization of all instrumentation, medical devices, and flexible endoscopes for the hospital. Responsible for accurately entering data into an instrument tracking system. Follows departmental policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:
Education High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required) Licenses and Certifications CIS- Certified Instrument Specialist
- HSPA
- Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (required) CRCST
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician
- HSPA
- Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (required) Or CBSPDT
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician
- Certified Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (required) Work Experience Minimum five (5) years A minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience, which includes specialty instrumentation, devices, and equipment.
Compensation Range:
$27.96- $40.
