Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sign Installer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of signage, including commercial, retail, and custom signs, ensuring they are securely mounted and visually impactful. Your expertise in construction techniques, blueprint reading, and the use of hand and power tools will be essential to deliver high-quality results efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small storefront signs to large-scale architectural displays, all while contributing to the visual identity of our clients' brands. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation instructions to accurately execute sign placements. Prepare work sites by measuring, marking, and setting up scaffolding or lifts as needed for safe access. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to install signs securely on various surfaces such as walls, facades, or poles. Install fixtures including lighting components, electrical wiring (where applicable), and mounting hardware with precision. Ensure all signage is aligned correctly and meets safety standards while maintaining aesthetic quality. Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify durability and adherence to project specifications. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to coordinate schedules and resolve any onsite issues promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematics. Familiarity with construction management principles, estimating processes, and inspection procedures. Hands-on experience with various construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or glazing is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. Knowledge of electrical systems related to sign lighting or wiring is a plus. Ability to work at heights safely using ladders or lifts; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
