Maintenance Mechanic IV Attalon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic IV to perform advanced maintenance, repair, and fabrication work across our facility, production floor, and support areas. In this role, you will help ensure the reliability of critical manufacturing equipment, utilities, and building systems. Working with minimal supervision, you will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and support equipment improvements that keep our high‑tech production environment running safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on, highly skilled mechanic who thrives in a fast‑paced, precision‑focused environment. Responsibilities Build, modify, and repair production machinery, equipment, and facility systems Perform preventive maintenance and follow all safety procedures Report equipment issues and facility needs to management Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time Safely operate power tools and small equipment Support special projects and other assigned maintenance tasks Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED 6+ years of relevant experience Strong mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical knowledge Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals Ability to take precise measurements using algebra, geometry, and precision tools Preferred Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities Experience with
AS9100, ISO
9001, or similar quality systems Reliable, customer‑focused, and committed to high‑quality work Effective teamwork in a safety‑focused environment Working Conditions The role requires regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and occasional wet/humid conditions. Noise levels are typically loud. Work may occur in both office and precision‑manufacturing environments, including fabrication and clean room areas. Physical Requirements. This role involves standing for extended periods, walking long distances, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating tools and machinery. Visual acuity, manual dexterity, and the ability to hear and communicate clearly are essential. Safety Requirements All employees must follow Attalon EHS procedures and site safety protocols, including clean‑room PPE where required. Quality & Environmental Responsibilities Depending on location, responsibilities may include supporting and maintaining ISO 9001, 14001, or related standards within Attalon's Quality and Environmental Management Systems. For California, the hourly pay range for this role: $24.08-$41.18 This range is a general guideline.
