  • Full-time Our client, a major manufacturing facility, is currently seeking a bilingual Maintenance Technician in Newark, California .
This role is responsible for keeping production and facility equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment.
The Day-to-Day:
Inspect, adjust, lubricate, and maintain assigned production and facility equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to help reduce downtime and improve equipment performance. Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore machinery to working condition in a timely manner. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across production and facility systems. Complete accurate, timely, and legible maintenance documentation, logs, and work orders.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Must be bilingual (English and Spanish) 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or food manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment. Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, schematics, and work orders. Basic welding, fabrication, and machining skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree or technical training in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance. Experience with PLC/VFD systems, servo drives, batching equipment, or process control systems. Experience using CMMS or maintenance planning systems. Knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

$35.00 to $39.00 per day
