General Maintenance Mechanic The General Maintenance Mechanic will ensure all systems operate correctly throughout the general Distribution Center daily. How You Will Make a Difference What you will do: This person will effectively execute the day-to-day maintenance requirements needed for the assigned shift. A General Maintenance Mechanic will maintain a good working knowledge of fully automated conveyor and PLC control systems, high & low voltage electrical systems, along with knowledge and supply of personal hand tools. Other maintenance responsibilities will center around repair/maintenance of fire suppression system, alarm system, and HVAC systems.
How you will do it:
You will partner with the Building and Facilities Manager, Shift Leads and other facility personnel to ensure all systems operate correctly throughout the day.
What success looks like:
Success in this role will be accomplished by completing daily repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the Distribution Center continues operating efficiently and minimizing down time. 1-3 years
Educational Position Requirements:
High school diploma/GED is required. While subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees/certifications are nice to have, we are also most interested in your total experience and professional achievements. What we expect you already know: Must have a valid driver's license Sufficient knowledge in hand and power tools Understanding of basic electrical components in both AD and DC voltage What we will teach you:
