  • Position Summary:
  • + In this role, you would primarily be responsible for responding to trouble calls on industrial equipment while preforming moderate to complex electrical and electronic repairs, installations and adjustments to industrial extrusion and printing equipment used in the manufacture of Flexible Packaging in our facility.
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to maintain the production machinery and equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds for Ontario, CA facility.
  • Essential Duties and Tasks:
  • + Organize repair and maintenance work for smooth, efficient operations; tracks all time and materials used to perform work orders and other repairs using both manual and electronic means.
+ Maintain, repair and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues for Extrusions and Print Press Machines and supporting industrial blowers, pumps, etc. + Transfer waste oil to DOT-approved drums. Responsible for proper labeling, material handling, and storage of the plant's hazardous materials and waste, and regulated materials and waste as well as universal wastes like fluorescent bulbs + Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate necessary repairs. + Recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate any necessary elements following a problem or a project.

Analyze and resolves all issues related to the equipment, utilizing all safety precautions. + Actively participate in regular meetings and safety trainings and programs
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • + Be experienced in industrial electrical repair and PLC's. + Have a working knowledge of Print Press and Extrusion Machines + Have the ability to utilize computers to check and enter work orders, look up parts, check emails and instructions and/or complete safety training and submit reports.

5pm - 5am (12 hour shifts) + The position is needed to work a 2-2-3 rotation
  • Wage:
  • + Starting at $33-34 per hour, plus $1.75 night shift differential for hours worked past 5pm.
