Job Description

Facilities & Building Maintenance Technician Poway Weapons & Gear's Indoor Range (PWG Range) is one of the country's premier indoor shooting ranges and the largest indoor range on the West Coast. At 42,000+ square feet, 42 lanes and three separate ranges - 25, 50 and 100 Yards- PWG Range is the third largest indoor gun range in the nation and has a career opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for facilities and maintenance items, general repairs and troubleshooting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct general maintenance and repair on all areas of the facility; including, but not limited to: flooring, wall patch, painting, plumbing, lighting, ceiling, tile, door, window, forklift duties, clean up as directed, etc.
  • Conduct general maintenance and repair on all areas of the range including the traps, carrier systems, rails, lights, baffles and other support structures.
  • Preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and repair on plant equipment.
  • Organize and direct small projects and minor build outs not requiring the services of a general contractor.
  • Repair of small to medium equipment and systems.
  • Installation of small equipment and systems.
  • Assist with HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Moving of furniture and conference room setup.
  • On-site escort of contractors and vendors.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
Requirements:
  • Two to four years' general maintenance experience required
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Writing and communication skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • General carpentry, electrical, plumbing and flooring skills.
  • Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
  • Knowledgeable of federal and state regulations such as OSHA is very desirable.
Compensation:
$18 - $20 per hour depending on experience. Starting Wage based on background and qualifications .
